The XArc international team of planetary scientists, caving and mining experts, robotic experts, and human performance experts will present its lava tube analog mission research goals in a poster session at the 41st Lunar and Planetary Science Conference at The Woodlands, Houston, TX, March 1-5, 2010. The presentation entitled “Lava Tube Analog Mission for Lunar Science and Human Performance Studies” is presented in the conference Poster Session II, Environmental Analogs.
The LPSC conference brings together international specialists in petrology, geochemistry, geophysics, geology, and astronomy to present the latest results of research in planetary science. The five-day conference of contributed presentations emphasize planetary processes in addition to presentations related to planetary bodies.
