The paper addresses application of simulation software for pedestrian flows for modeling crowd flow control during standoff/remote explosives screening. The paper describes the use of “SimWalk”, an advanced modeling and simulation software application for modeling crowd flow control as a viable platform for characterizing pedestrian flow, and for integration with deployed candidate standoff and remotely operated explosives countermeasures architectures.
