International Symposium for Personal Spaceflight (ISPS)

Exploration Architecture Corporation will participate in the 2007 International Symposium for Personal Spaceflight as a sponsor of the two day event to be held in Las Cruces, New Mexico, Oct 24-25, at the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum. XArc’s sponsorship of the symposium’s panel session on “Building the Spaceport Network” is a natural adjunct to its current spaceport design and operations assessment activity for the Spaceport America Virgin Galactic Terminal & Hangar Facility. XArc is a member of the multinational Spaceport America design team led by URS and Foster+Partners. Private and government-sponsored spaceports are emerging across the globe as new players in the commercial space transportation industry. Panel speakers will discuss recent developments in spaceport strategy, finance, design, regulation and operations, as well as the critical role they play in fostering broad-based public participation in, and support for, space-related economic development and a sustainable commercial spaceflight infrastructure.
